Swivel Wheel Trailer
I would like to take my motorcycle with us on camping trips, but hate the idea of a double-trailer, even more since it is not legal in many states. So I am thinking about a swivel wheel trailer.
Has anybody tried one of these? Comments, pros, cons, and how about getting the hitch built?

Never saw them before but it looks good and takes care of the pin weight problem.

There have been a couple of discussions on here about a similar product called the Idaho Tote. I don't recall anyone using any of these. Do a search for Idaho Tote and you will see the posts.

There's a fellow Rv'er on here msp2jxr who has one. PM him I'm sure he'll tell you all about it.
By the way, you still have to worry about GVWR with one of those, plus the weight your motorcycle.

We had one when I was a teen that was used for a hunting dog box transport. We used it be hind a truck camper and it worked great. It was a single wheel and was easy to back as it followed the truck and didn't matter how turned the wheel of the truck was turned it went where you did.

While I don't have one, I had to drive a farm implement that had the same characteristics way back when I was young. They're fairly easy to drive going forward as long as you remember that extra length that will swing wide on turns. Going backwards was a serious challenge.

I wonder how fast those rear wheels will be spinning at 62.5MPH?
Would the wheel bearings hold up?
I always wonder about that when I see a guy going 70+MPH with his 12' aluminum boat behind his truck.

Before I bought the 5er, we had a Class C and towed the motorcycle on a "Porta-Chopper" trailer - with 8" wheels! Did thousands of miles at 65+ mph and never had a wheel bearing get more than warm!
