Wood Trim
Has anyone purchased any of the vinyl coated wood that Keystone and others use for trim and cabinet facing. If so, would you please post a source for it or if you know what it's called, please post that. I would do a Google search, but I don't know what the stuff is called. It has to be available somewhere, that's not something that the trailer manufacturers would make on site.

Bob, I'm not sure how things work out your way but I can get that trim from my cabinet guys.
Just about any cabinet maker that supplies big box stores will carry that trim or they can get it in for you.

I've bought it in foam and plastic as I use it in wet area installations.

I just ordered a roll from a local RV repair place here. Just under 18 bucks, comes in a 20 foot roll. It is the "golden oak" style, a bit out dated but too much vinyl covering to redo the entire rig. I wish it was all real wood so I could sand and restain everything. How much do you need? I am redoing the inside of the television area, changing to a flat screen and building a secure way to mount a swivel bracket. I won't need the whole 20 feet and can send you some. If you need a lot and cannot find what you need there, let me know and I will put you in touch with the company here.

if you are talking about the laminate "wood product" that has the paper/vinal cover and is used to build the frames of most RV cabinets. I ordered mine thru a couple of the dealers here in BC and from Camping world in WA.
For the dealers up here, some of the them stock the older colours and from Camping world and because if was the newer dark colour I gave them the Vin number and two weeks later I had them.
They call the 1 x 1 and 1 X 1/2 and 1 X 2 Styles and the cost me about $10.00 per 8 ft. length

Thanks for all of the offers to help. it's very much appreciated. I am only going to have a trim piece around a shelf to cover. I'm extending the shelf for the microwave, getting rid of the $25 microwave and putting in a convection MW. I need a specific color, Butter Rum Cream, since that's what my cabinets are. The cabinets but against the cherry colloid part that houses the fridge, so I don't want yet another color there. The color I need is probably something that was formulated for Keystone, so if they can not or will not(More likely) give me their source, I'll take a piece of the cabinet to a paint store and get the color computer matched. If I could just by a length from Keystone's source, I could dado and miter it to fit the shelf extension. I've searched all over the Internet for some reference to that color name and there's nothing out there.

Most home stores sell the foam/plastic trim/moulding in many styles and several faux wood grain colors. I need to replace a small strip on lower TV opening in the bunk room, that became dinged up from the tv stand. I plan on repairing in the spring. Lowes, HD are the first places I will look. I am just replacing a 24" x 1/2" piece. If I can find a close match with the fake stuff I will probably use pine or oak and stain to match.

Be nice now
That standard micro is almost $100! (anything over $50 cost is considered a premium product in these rigs.
Keystone builds; we buy; we re-build.
I MAY be leaving the forum tomorrow night. Looking at the new Prevost coach. Just need that big lotto to HIT. I promise to post pics before we leave in the coach for Alaska.

The Trekwood link is in the sticky for RV parts and supplies. It's listed under Decals and also under Miscellaneous
