Which Caulking/Sealer to use?

I'm about to replace the CH751 cam locks on my storage and rear door and there's some sort of clear sealant on those from the factory. Would clear Sikaflex be suitable to seal around those locks?

Cam locks should come with a rubber "formed" washer that seals the cylinder in the door. I wouldn't use something as "permanent" as Sikaflex. Can't say I've ever seen any cam locks on any units I've worked on sealed into/on the door.

Ok, thanks. The new ones came in today and they did come with the rubber washer; I'll just use those. I was just wondering about sealant because the cam locks with pull tabs had a tiny bit of some sort of clear sealant; apparently to keep them in place I guess?

That's probably the reason. If the cam lock is correctly tightened, the pull tab shouldn't move.
