Hello Everyone

Just dropped in to say hello. My wife and I went to the fall RV show 2 weeks ago "just to kill some time" and ended up purchasing a 2011 Cougar 326MKS.
My Cougar won't be delivered until mid October because we wanted some extra's so they had to order it.
I have never "RV'd" before so I figured you just back up , hook up, and hit the road....OK you can stop laughing......really, knock it off....
Well.......we had to go get all the stuff that you have to put "IN" the RV yesterday, $900 later we were 2/3 through the list my wife made.
Just realized I didn't have anywhere to park the dang thing when I take it home so found a RV storage lot for $65 per month and remembered that I have to have insurance so got that. Oh crap, I needed to go buy a fifth wheel to put in my truck to pull my new trailer, $1200 later that item was taken care of.
I'll tell you all one thing, I can't wait to get my RV and have some fun :-)

I will have lots of newbie questions so get ready..........
Grant

Once you have finished paying for all of the gear, the hitches and the insurance, go out and have some fun and enjoy your new Cougar. Don't be shy - feel free to ask any questions you might have. When you do post your questions, find the section or category that best suits your query and post it there. Lots of helpful, experienced and knowledgeable people on the site who can assist you. Welcome, Grant and Melisa. Whoops, almost forgot Lucy, Ethel and Fred. Great names for your hounds!

Congrats on purchasing your new trailer
and have fun towing and camping.

We fulltime in our fiver and as a matter of fact will be driving 'through'
St. Louis area in about 5 days.

We have 2 nights at Cape Giradeau, Missouri on 9/30 and 10/1.
(We're meeting friends in New Orleans!)

So I hope you enjoy all there is about RV'ing. You will have great adventures!
