The anti-siphon valve (vacuum breaker) is the WEAKEST LINK in the black tank flush system. It's fragile, easy to overpressureize, fragile, unable to withstand freezing, fragile, located in a place where leaks are damaging if not noticed rapidly, fragile and it break easily.... Oh did I mention that it is fragile ????
Replacements from an RV dealership will be the same type component with the same "problems"... (fragile).... There are some replacement components available in the "underground irrigation section" of most home improvement stores, or, as indicated above, just get two elbows and a short threaded union and make your own. Just remember to add that anti-siphon valve to the end of your "black tank flush hose" that you use to connect to the trailer when you flush.... Otherwise, you risk siphoning black tank contents back to your water supply at the faucet. YECHT !!!
