Hot Water issued solved

Our water heater wasn't working on gas. After much searching I tried many things that were mentioned, but nothing worked. Finally decided to bypass the on off switch and it fired up! Just posting for future reference if someone searches. $10 for new switch board and a few minutes to change.

If your talking about the ON/OFF switch in the lower left corner, you spent $10.00 for nothing. It has NO effect on the LP operation of your water heater. It's sole purpose in life is to energize the 110V heating element inside the tank as long as your plugged into shore power.

It's possible that he is talking about the switch for LP heat in the control panel..
