Where is the switch to turn on hot water heater in 2004 Zeppelin 18?

It's definitely not under the metal hot water heater door on the back of the rv. At least it's not labeled. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

On a 2004, no idea. On a 2015, you remove the water heater panel, kneel down, look up, and the switch is hidden. This is the only RV where I didn't have an in-house switch for electric water heat.

Bottom left corner under burner tube .... small black rocker switch. Trust me it is there, Hank

Be sure there is water in the tank before switching on.

Right here, under the burner tube on the lower left part of the water heater. NOTE: The switch is installed "upside-down" meaning pressing the bottom turns it on and pressing the top turns it off. That's "backerds" from the way most switches are installed, so make sure you're turning it on, not off when you do find it.

Bottom Down is on Top Down is off. It's backwards of what you'd expect.
