Blue Ox Weight Distribution Maintenance

So I have had my Blue Ox Weight distribution for about 18 months now. About every 6 months I perform maintenance on my trailer and run through all of my system checks, however, it has occurred to me that I have never done anything with the hitch system. There isn't much on their website regarding this, I have noticed a little rust and such, just wondering what I should do to keep this functioning properly.

Weight distributing hitch? I think you're supposed to grease the zerks and check the torque on all the bolts periodically.
