Question about bearings

OK, I had my bearing repacked back the week before memorial day. I pulled my camper 1250 miles. IT has sat in that camper spot for two months. Do you think once I check air pressure the camper bearings will be good to bring back home the 1250 miles? We will not pull it again until the last weekend(Saturday-Sunday) in July so no way or time to have it looked at again?
Just asking for peace of mind??
I know it sits that long at the house during the summer months.
thanks
randy

My dealer recommends every 2 years or every 10000 miles, you will be fine I believe.

The bearings will be fine as long as the mechanic did his job correctly.

If still concerned and if they are E-Z Lube bearings with a zerk fitting in the end of the axle, jacking each wheel up and rotating it, hand pump a few squirts in there (yeah, three hands help). Other then that 12,000 miles or 1-2 years, whichever comes first is Dexter/AL-KO/Lippert's recommendation.

I would: Torque the lugs nuts, check the tire pressure and tow it.

We have been from Southern California to New England and the Southeast and back several times the last three years. After every trip, I have had the wheels pulled to check both the brakes and the bearings. Each time so far, the report has been that both appear as new. I have not kept close track of the miles but believe we have towed over 30,000 miles in that time. I know we put over 50,000 miles on the truck, but obviously weren't towing all those miles.

I have had my share of bearing trouble on other trailers over the years and learned the hard way about keeping an eye on them. I keep a close eye on inflation pressure and lug nuts and have not had any tire/wheel problems with the fifth wheel so far. Unless the trailer is grossly overloaded or bearing grease has been ignored way too long, you should be fine.

Yup. If they were packed correctly, they are fine for a few years.

Problem with the grease zerks are many... I don't use them at all.

We tow from BC Canada to Southern California then let the trailer sit for 5 months before we head home and never an issue just check the lug nuts and tire pressure
