Keystone Cougar 299RK Weight

Hi all
Can anyone confirm that the empty weight of the 299RK is as per factory specs? I would like to check this before purchasing another tug - GMC 2500HD.
My 2011 has an ex factory shipping weight of 7660 lbs and GVWR of 10,000 lbs. Is this somewhere near the mark?
Cheers
Jon

Wow, I would be a bit worried about that "Dry" weight also!! To me it seems real light!
I tow an 05 Keystone Copper Canyon 293 FWSLS my Dry weight at slightly shorter length is 9,820# nearly 2,000# more than yours is listed at. Hitch weight looks a bit low also.

Your Specs from RV Guide

Technical Specifications:
Length 33' 11"
Width 96"
Height 146"
Dry Weight 7,890#
Payload Capacity 2,110#
Hitch Weight 1,405

Thanks for the info Russ, appreciated.
The specs line up with the weights from Keystone.

I have the High Country 299RKS and it had a dry weight of about 7800 lbs and pin weight of 1410. Loaded, it comes to 9500 (full fresh water) with a pin weight of 1650.

Thanks for your info mate
Looks like I need to watch pin weight & GVWR when loading, especially water.
I intend to install a washing machine under the bathroom sink - about 170 lbs which should spread across pin/TV and 5er wheels, and a split system airconditioner - 'indoor' air unit of (about 20lbs) above TV and 'outdoor' compressor unit at rear (about 70lbs) which should help balance pin weight.
Cheers
