Accumulator

I am thinking about adding an accumulator to the water system.

Right now, I am leaning to a larger, stainless steel accumulator.

Does anyone else use the larger, stainless steel accumulator?

Where is the waterpump in a Montana High Country (2011)?

I will try to silence the water pump to some degree when the accumulator is added.

It won't really make it quieter, it cuts down on surging and pump cycling.

It will still be loud when running. You need to isolate pump and water lines from hard surfaces to make the pump quieter.

Best way to quiet your pump is to add loops of flexible line to both sides and mount the pump on a piece of hard rubber. I've seen people put accumulators on rigs like these: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001AZL562/...1UH3BUJN&psc=1 Only issue is making certain you let all the water out when winterizing. Also, look here: http://www.keystonerv.org/forums/showthread.php?t=16222
