On our 2nd trip, the Ultra-Fab 4500 Tongue Jack decided to NOT work. I hand cranked it for setup and take down. Today I crawled under the tongue to trace the wires and found the ground wire clinging on the screw by a strand. The previous owner must have installed it himself. There was no connector on the wire. The battery cable was also stretched to fit the same screw. Bought a longer wire for the battery and connector for the jack wire. Put all back together and viola' a working jack.

Installed the TPMS repeater with an inline switch. Sounds simple, right?
Figured out that the "color-coded easy wiring" isn't quite as simple as they make it seem. In the front cargo area, there's four orange/white 12v wires, all marked "5," which should correspond to the #5 "accessory" fuse and circuit. No problem, right? I cut into one that was routed downwards towards the wall where I wanted to put the switch, and wired everything together and... nothing. Out comes the multitester, and there's little/no voltage in the line. Check the fuses, all good. Fiddle around with it a little more, and realize I just tied into the line that's switched for the docking lights (and oddly, when switched on, there's only 0.8v running through that wire, so it must be resisted at the switch). Also, fiddling around with it blew the fuse, which was not the #5 fuse, but the #10 fuse- the one marked for cargo lights! As an aside, that explains why the cargo lights are also wired in with orange/white #5 wires. So I picked a different #5 wire that routed back into the house and spliced a pigtail into that, tested at 12.8v constant, ran it down to the installation area, got it all patched together, and success! New fuse, reliable TPMS signal in the cab of the truck, and less confidence in the numbers on those wires.
Thought about similarly splicing in a cargo light for that compartment, but my body was punishing me already for all the crouching and bending, and it being the hottest day of the year so far, it will wait for another day.

Because there were TWO pairs of #5 wires.
Amos was good at math, that's why they hired him.

New tv and outside mount for old tv
Bought a smart fireTV back on Amazon prime days and configured to my winegard gateway, etc.
Due to an idea I saw in here on flag holders I came up with an outside tv mount that doesn’t require any holes. The tv that came with my unit was mounted so no stand…so used a bathroom grab bar to mount to the side of my trailer
I can additionally use this for tailgating and sticking it to the back window of my truck.

The YouTube video on the Lippert web site was very helpful. We did the replacement a little different but basically the same sequence. I planned to replace the fabric when I bought the camper back in March. They told me I could not do it myself. This was a huge upgrade for our camper.

I did mine today with the Shade Pro fabric. It's seems to be a good quality material. The awning on my new-to-me Bullet was pretty rough. It was tearing away from the roller and the RV because it was dry rotted. I don't know if they somehow shrink over time but the replacement is longer and wider than the fabric that was on it (maybe it had been replaced? dunno).
The video helped immensely. Although it didn't show the part where the screw on the motor side of the tube snapped off in the motor shaft like mine did .

I made a bigger medicine cabinet out of 26 ga. sheetmetal. It is the same outside size as the door and 1-1/2” deeper than the original. I lined both sides with 5/8” MDF and drilled holes for the shelf brackets. I added a magnet to keep it closed and a strap to secure it while traveling. I was going to paint or powder coat it, but instead covered it inside and out with white self adhesive vinyl.

Did a few mods to the trailer over the last week or so. (sorry no pics)
1) Installed a slow-close solid wood dometic toilet seat.
2) Installed maxxair II vent covers for both (bathroom/bedroom) standard vents.
3) Re-taped the A/C vents and blocked off the dump vent using foam board to improve air flow to vents.
4) Installed a Extend-A-Shower expanding shower rod and standard curtain.

How did you manage to get a hold of those vent covers? Every place I've looked (and I've looked a lot) they're universally out of stock

I had them ordered through etrailer, but it was taking forever so I canceled the order and ordered through Amazon.

This evening I unloaded my trailer. I had worked on it for about a week to get it all setup and loaded for a trip.
Then the Province put in an evac order for the area I was going to.
Damn.

Sorry for the later reply traveling the last week! Its a 32" TV that came with the trailer. (which I just replaced with the same size - smart[er] TV). It hardly weights anything, and the grab bar holds 75". I actually have another suction cup hook that is suppose to hold 20# that I might add with a cord as a safety/backup...but it worked great on the trip with no problems.

Today I checked the A/C vents and was a little disappointed. Easy fix though. Removed the old crappy tape, cut away the foam board and added new tape. Prior to doing this, some of the vents were hard to rotate. Now they turn without any issues, I’m guessing the poor tape job caused the tape to interfere with the vent cover.

Mine just pop off. There are three little plastic hooks evenly placed around the cover. I just used my fingers and gently pried one hook off and then carefully shimmied the other two off.

Replaced all of the suspension bushings with bronze bushings. All of the nylon (plastic?) bushings were worn out and came out easily in pieces. The center pieces between the springs had bronze bushings already, drivers side ones were-not in bad shape, but the bushings on the passenger side were all 3 broken into 2 pieces. Real glad I got this done since we will be starting on a 3,000 mile trip on labor day.
Note I did this with the help of my son.
