New 2012 Laredo 298RE owner

We just purchased a 2012 Laredo 298RE at the end of August. We took it out for a week at the end of September at Dreher Island. The rear living area was perfect for enjoying a view of Lake Murray. It rained very hard 3 nights with high winds and T-storms. No leaks under these severe conditions. We are very pleased with this unit. It does not appear that the wheels were balanced. I know that vibration is what leads to eventual component failure. I am undecided as to whether to use dynabeads or just take them off and get them spin balanced. Any opinions on wheel balancing?

Welcome to the forum. You've just joined a group of RV'ers who enjoy helping each other with problems. You'll find answers to almost anything having to do with RVing either in the previous posts or as answers to your questions. looking forward to your contributions as well !!!

There is an article in this month's Trailer Life asking the same question. The response from the "Experts" is that the autobalance devices have been around a long time and nobody has ever proven they work, nor have they been disproved. The fact that they are still on the market lends support for their function. The "Expert" suggested that the reader have his tires conventionally balanced, see if it improves the ride and while there ask about the autobalance devices.... It sounded like he acknowledged their existence, but didn't recommend them for use....
