3600 mile shakedown

Well we drug our wagon all the way up to Alaska 3600 miles so far with no problems. All the appliances and utilities held up well and only had a couple screws back out on some interior fittings. This little lightweight 5th wheel really pulls and handles nice.
Now for about six weeks of sightseeing and exploring ahead of us before we turn it south again.

You'll probably go to Homer where the road ends on the Kenai peninsula. If so, Fred Meyer in Soldotna (trailer OK) has the cheapest gas. You don't want to buy gas in Homer.

You also might want to consider the Rainbow roundtrip to Seldovia for a walkabout and lunch. They offer a whale watching or "looking for" tour on the way with a stop at Bird Rock. Another boat offers the same tour.

The Cosmic Kitchen in Homer has outstanding breakfasts.

Glad the trip is going well for you.
