ID:	9391After the original spare tire mount failed, I had the dealer order this one. The dealer actually owed me for killing my batteries and failed promises. Well they again failed with this mount in that they ordered the wrong one. They ordered me one for a recessed frame and I have an enclosed under belly. Anyways, they got it right and installed it. Here it is. Very happy with it!

I installed the same spare tire mount on our Cougar. It's a great addition to get the spare tire off the rear bumper and out of the sun.

One suggestion you might consider is turning your spare tire over so the valve stem is on the bottom. That way you can check the air pressure in your spare without having to undo the carrier to get to the valve....

I always put an extra ten or fifteen lbs of air in my spares because they rarely get used and not check as often. This allows for bleed down and hopefully, should you ever need it you will have enough air in it, or bleed it down a bit to have it at the correct amount.

I put that same carrier under my Cougar and love it! Out of the way yet easy to get at if need be, actually the smartest place for the spare in my opinion.

Bal spare tire

Popular. Just put one on our 2014 Cougar 333MKS two weeks ago, yes, mounted with the stem down to check inflation. Rear bumper is now ready for bike rack..

Sorry to say it but that is some s**tty welding on that bumper! Hope the dealer that reinforced it did a better job than the factory did.

I just put a new bumper on mine thicker gauge and properly welded. It wasnt expensive I think $120.00. No fears of losing the spare tire now. (I hope)

It was under warranty Keystone just told them to weld it up and let it go. I called keystone and told them that it was unacceptable they then sent a new bumper and the dealer had it reinforced.
