Sliding doors FIXED
I wish I could take credit for this fix but it was actually a tech at the dealer who did. He got the parts from Home Depot. They're brushed metal and match the puck that opens the doors.

Good grief. I'll be at Home Depot ASAP. I have shopped for a latch at Lowes but not HD.

Now maybe I can get rid of the surveyor stake, round wooden dowel, and 2 flip flops that hold my doors shut.

We were using the tootsie roll pillow, hamper and a fan to hold the doors open during travel.

Not sure, they did it for free. Take the pic with you, if I remember there were several colors. I saw them by chance at another HD.

Good idea! Our door has this flimsy plastic strap with a snap that keeps breaking. Next trip to HD, I'll be looking for it.

I'm going to look for this and use it on my bedroom door. That stupid plastic strap with snap doesn't hold back anything.

Went to my nearest HD. The latch is mail order only. I found the same thing on Amazon.
National Hardware Model# V800. 2 1/2" Nickel silver finish. $6.20.

Just installed mine. The only finish I saw on line was the nickel. It's a bit shinier than the brushed finish. No problem for me though.
The dowel, surveyor stake, and flip flops are now employed in other service.
