Leaky Slide Is It Extended Too Far??

New at rehabbing an older 5th wheel. Seems like these slides are extending too far? It’s a 2002 Montana and while they did replace the roof, slides are leaking. Totally capable of doing the work myself I just can’t find much online regarding this 2002 or slide mechanical issues in general. Any help is much appreciated. Thx
