water pump
A question for this new owner. Does anyone know where the water pump is located on a XLITE, 29 RBS?

My best guess is under the counter by the sink. Pull some drawers out and turn on some water listen for the pump noise. Sometimes necessary to take out drawers to access or change out.

We have a 28SGS - XLite and you have to access the pump in the storage (Basement) area under the bathroom. There are thin plywood panels you have to remove. My was noisy so I installed a noise reduction kit I got at Camping Would and put an old mouse pad under it. Got rid of about 50% of the noise.
Have a great day, Allan

Just got a 2013 28SGS and felt the pumps noise was unacceptable , put large
cushion under it , little help , just ordered a Sureflo 4 chamber , hope this is somewhat quieter . Well give a progress report when I get it. Bart

On my 2015 28SGS the water pump is in a cabinet in the back corner of the back side of the unit. Not any noisier than any of my previous pumps.

Pump Location in 29RBS
Don't have the 29RBS - have the 29RLS. Our water pump is in the sink area, accessible by removing the drawers behind the sink - I'd be willing to say yours is in about the same place.
The probably wouldn't put the pump in the bunk room, just because of the noise, but they've done worse things as we all know.

Mine is in the basement and behind the hot water heater. I replaced the noisy Flojet with a Shurflo Revolution. Ahhh!
