Bathroom Vent Upgrade

I upgraded my bathroom vent fan to a Hengs Ultimate I unit. But I upgraded the simple on/off switch that it came with to a on/off/on reversing switch so I can also have it bring in outside air when needed. If you are comfortable around wiring, it's an easy mod to the Ultimate I fan.

I've read several posts where folks wNt a reversi g in fan in the bathroom. I'm curious as to why? Personally I wouldn't want the fan distributing the moisture or smells from that room into other rooms.

I don't know about anyone else, but I would not be reversing the fan when smells were needing to be removed!

I will use it when I want fresh/cooler air into the camper.

For a simple mod to have for when/if I would like to use it was worth the 20 minutes to wire in...

Nice looking mod. I need to find one with a remote switch. My vertically challenged DW can’t reach the switch on our.

Max air has fans with remote. I have one in my family room, ceiling is too high to reach

Yeah, I’ve seen those. I guess that’s what I’ll have to put in. I like the max fan in the kitchen on mine with the switches mounted in the control panel, but not going to try to fish wires down through the wall, although it probably wouldn’t be that difficult in the bathroom interior wall.

It's really a simple concept. The DW has hot flashes and it's the easiest way to cool the bathroom when she is using the curling iron and hair drier. This is one angry woman when she's overheated.
