I have witnessed a vehicle fire in a parking lot that caught several others on fire. In fact, 8 burned before the fire department got it under control/out. So I can understand why they say that, but by saying don’t park in a garage, near structures, or other vehicles doesn’t really leave a lot of options of where you can park. BTW, the comment was referring to the discussion about the RAM recall for the fuel pumps

I've seen many vehicles catch fire, is that what happens to the trucks you didn't refrence?

The CP4 fuel pump article that was also posted earlier (I think Wiredgeorge posted it, I’d have to look back) says the RAM trucks are catching fire.

You didn't quote any previous posts so I thought you were refrencing the OP.

I figured that, that’s why I added the clarification. I was responding the Hanks post that preceded mine. The thread gets so long when you quote previous posts, but when there’s multiple ideas/discussions going on, it can get confusing if you don’t quote.

Thanks for clarifying.

One can also edit the quote, so only the pertinent part is quoted.

Yep, that roof looks pretty flatted! I wonder how hard the impact was. Interesting side note about the tires!

That didn't look like it rolled but rather was dropped upside down onto the roof?
IMHO if Pep Boys installed the "wrong" tires I'd assume it was at the request of the truck owners, there's not too many "wrong" options in a 16" LT tire.
Unfortunately there were fatalities, but $1.7 billion is absolutely ridiculous & if the family actually got $24 million even with lawyers getting 1/2 they should set for life.
