Solar and inverters

I've seen some discussion about electrical power thru an inverter that can be used somehow while traveling to power the fridge.
My cougar23mls came with the solar set up and inverter but I have no clue if it has other capabilities while on the road between stops. Just checking to see if there are other things possible with this setup?
Thanks for any info.

What other things are you thinking?

Are you sure you have a residential fridge in that 23mls?
I ask because that is the only fridge where you would need an inverter for power while traveling.

The other two fridge options are the long standard RV Absorption fridge and the latest these days is the 12 volt compressor fridge.
The older absorption fridge can run off of propane while traveling.
The latest 12v fridge runs off your batteries.

We have the 12v fridge in our 24RDS and it works just fine running while traveling (No inverter needed).

The older absorption fridge still needs 12V to operate the control board.

Yes, that is true.
But my point was that it does not need an inverter.

To the OP; the inverter is of little use while driving down the road unless you want/need to power something that needs a 110v AC circuit. Other than a residential refrigerator or an outdoor kitchen refrigerator (neither of which your model has), I don’t see any benefit.

If you have a gas/electric absorption refrigerator, in theory I suppose you could activate the inverter and run the fridge off AC power. However, that would require some creative rewiring to get the refrigerator circuit in the inverter loop and it is less efficient than gas, so again, I don’t see any benefit.
