HIDEOUT 176BH Towing Question

Hello,

I am new to RVing was looking into getting a HIDEOUT 176BH after looking at one next to us while tenting it I recently bought a new 2022 Toyota Tundra Crew Cab 6.5 foot bed 1794 edition. I have a Polaris 570 X2 and was wondering if the numbers would jive between the weight of the trailer and having the quad in the bed or if I would be way over tongue weight /Payload. Let me know Thanks

Tundra numbers state 1575 pound payload
Polaris 570 X2 is 800 pounds
Hitch Weight is showing 520 pounds on the keystone website

Welcome to the forum

Quick look at 2022 trailer says it has 4500 GVWR. Using 10-13% as tongue weight that’s about 600 pounds.

Add the weight of battery(s) and propane along with the hitch and I believe putting the quad in the bed will put you way over.

Remember you've also got to add you and other passengers along with luggage, and other items in the bed. Don't forget to add the weight of the hitch.
