We have only been there one time - last year in January.

No one hardly there - a little cold but we loved it anyway.

Nice park, great beach and we hope to some day get to go in the summertime.

While on a trip to Fripp Island (say that 3 times fast) my DW noticed the State Park so when we went back to the FW in Hardeeville I looked it up looks great our friends on Fripp stopped by to look it over and said that it would be a great place to spend some time and it is so close to their home there so next Fall we will stop there for a few days to check it out. We store the FW in Hardeeville over the Winter.leaving 1/27 to pick it up to go to the KOA in North Port,FL for a month and then to meander up the West Coast to Port St. Joe. then we head North to home in the Adirondacks hoping all of the cold and Snow is gone.

Spent a week there last Sept. going again this Sept.
Nice park, great beach highly recommend.
If you want a site near the beach make a reservation a year in advance, otherwise there are lots of sites available away from the beach.

Huntington beach

We love this campground, beach is great if you don't want to see high-rise hotels, just maritime forest and beach! Great bike trails.
