Pine trees :(

When we r not on the road my Passport sits in my backyard (u know u are a redneck if) tuck away in a ton of pine trees. I found a tarp online that blocks out the sun, lets wind and rain through, and keeps pine sap and needles OFF. Its quite primative but works great and keeps the camper cooler than it would otherwise. I used ratchet straps, rope and a ton of ball bungees. About $200 invested. So far has held up to severe weather.

How long did it take to find a spot with 6 pine trees in a row so you could park under them????

Bout 10 seconds. My lot is full of them. A cornfield of pines. I may have 100 powerline poles for sale in 5 years.

LOL I live in the "northwoods" of Michigan and we've got poplars like that. Around here people say they're called POP lars because when you walk past one and lean on it, it pops either out of the ground or in the middle of the trunk. We've finally bought a tractor to help keep the limbs and fallen POP lars at bay.... I know how you feel, at least yours don't fall over with every wind that blows through......

I figure the sap helps keep our roof sealed. Lots of pines here, our TT is stored under a big one.
