Unhappy 50 AMP Surge Guard

Just ordered 50 AMP Surge Guard from CW, come with free locking device. Only got locking device because it was free. My power cord is the type, that screws on to 5er. So im thinking, if someone really want to steal surge guard, and its lock to cord ther are going disconnet cord from 5er stealing both.

Has anyone ever had one grow legs and walk away ?

BTW not very cheap.

I have one of the cheaper, 30A surge protectors and made a short lockable cable for it which I lock to the power pedastal. Yes, it still can be stolen if someone wants it badly enough but it should discourage the "grab and run" thief. It was a fairly simple and cheap mod.
