Window Blinds Issue

We recently picked up our 2013 Keystone Passport Express Super Lite 238ML and used it for the first time this past Memorial Day weekend. We love everything about it except the metal blinds. We could not get the blinds to turn either up or down with the plastic turn pole. We had to turn each metal slat by hand in order to open and close the blinds. In looking at the configuration, the blinds sit against the walls of the trailer and the windows sit off the wall. This is causing the blinds to sit against the top of the window, therefore not allowing the blind slats to turn up or down.

Has anyone experienced this problem as well? If so, did Keystone do anything to remedy the issue?

Yes....similar issue. Kitchen blinds are metal because of fire code requirements. The first set I had on my 2011 Outback, the factory replaced. Not only did the plastic handle break, the strings also broke so we had a cute little mess....

Second set, blinds installed correctly, BUT, plastic handle still an issue.

We often slip the rod off and turn the mechanism by hand.
