Controller

So i got 700w worth pf solar panels. Need recommendations for what kind of controller i need? I also have a 200ah LiFePo amperetime battery. Thanks! You guys have been great help so far!

I would get whatever brand is compatible with the solar panels.

How do i know whats compatible? Its a newpowa panel but there controllers only go to 40a. Im hoping to fond something that goes to about 80a to handle what i have and if i wanted to add another panel or 2 in the future?

Just my opinion, I would use the 40A controller and call it good.

With that setup I'd go with a Victron Energy MPPT controller they're available up to 100amps. The MPPT controller is more efficient and will allow you to wire your panels in a way where you increase the voltage to the controller, keeping the amps lower so the wiring doesn't have to be overly large gauge. Their Smart Solar controllers also have built in bluetooth so you can monitor and adjust them using your cell phone. I recently upgraded my 160W system with a 150Ah LiFe battery to a 100V/20amp Victron and noticed a 15 to 20% efficiency improvement over the old PWM controller. Recommend you research the subject if you're not sure of anything, lots of good information out there and I'm no expert.
