then, tie together 4&7, 5&8, 6&9
That combo will work for a 480V 3phase connection....both Delta and Wye connected motors

Now, I brush off some dust and make a stab at 208V 3 phase Wye...although we didn't have 208V 3 phase where I worked, but it seems I remember .....
L1...tie 1&7 together
L2...tie 2&8 together
L3...tie 3&9 together
then tie 4,5, and 6 together.

And I can't remember Low Voltage Delta....probably because I never wired one up
STOP IT! I retired so I don't have to think about @!##% like that!

In our Garage / workshop my Father in law installed a phase converter
He bought off a government auction site to power his milling machines ...originally he made a phase converter out of a old 3 phase motor ..it was kinda sketchy looking but it worked...he was a genius on most things mechanical

LOL....I'm retired also....that's why I had to brush off a bit of dust to be able to remember the low voltage connections. Anyway, happy retirement and bach to your regularly scheduled programming.

Yep, I agree. It's much easier to look it up, than to try and remember that stuff, especially as I get older.

And, as a side note, I've been retired for almost a year (next month) and I am working on my very first electrical project since I retired. Now, it can be done by choice, rather than necessity and I'm enjoying that aspect of it. I'm adding some new switches to my camper that are "wireless". The switch itself is a transmitter, and when pressed, it sends a signal to the associated receiver unit, which then send an input to the One Control device on my trailer that turns lights off/on and the receivers are mounted in the basement.....so I don't have to try and fish wires up through the wall to the switches. It's gonna be pretty slick.

Sounds slick, 12 volt or 120 volt?

I have been retired for 22 years now .It's been since the mid eighties that I wired a 3 phase motor. I think back then how much of our memory we used every day. That little device in our hands with all the answers in it isn't helping to keep our minds sharp. I worry 😟 about the younger generation that doesn't develop that part of the brain because of this modern technology.

Or you could use this 1969 classic...

Too new? OK here's one from 1916. The formulas are still valid!

It's 12VDC. Many of the lights have to be turned on either via the wall mounted tablet, or using a phone app for One Control. It's just plain stupid to have to do either, when a mechanical wall switch could be used...in addition to the tablet and the app. So that's what I did, except I used the wireless switches. I finished the project up today and everything worked perfectly. I now have switches for...
1. Hutch over the TV and fireplace
2. Kitchen counter and sink
3. The outside under the trailer lights that they call "step" lights
4. The outside flood light
5. The outside porch light
6. The awning lights

Here's a couple of pics.....one set of three switches on the wall by the steps going up to the bedroom/bathroom...

the other set of three switches are on the right hand side of the front door...easy to turn on when you're going out the door at night...porch light, flood light and awning lights...

Those six switches operate these six modules wirelessly. The modules are inputted to the One control panel...

As shocking as it is, I think this thread has about run out of energy, unless someone objects I am throwing the switch on this thread.
