Once you have played doctor with the exam gloves and nothing seems wrong and the water still leaks from the valve, it will be much less frustrating to just install a new toilet. I'm willing to bet that the toilet in question is probably a Thetford, and if it is, an upgrade to a Dometic 310 or 320 will solve the problem. We went just past the one year warranty period, had a couple failures with our Thetford, and finally decided to go the Dometic route. Have had no issues since the replacement, and that was in 2013, and we full time
