AC/DC adaptor for TV antenna

Hi I just bought a bullet premier 26rbpr. It has in the bedroom an ac/dc adaptor with an output of 25 volts it attaches to a splitter. I'm not up on antennas, is this an antenna amplifier. If so how does it work?

Can you post a pic? As a rule the antenna booster is built into the plate with the coax outlet and is 12VDC.

I'd love to, but I can't resize the picture with my phone and I'm not at home. It looks like a standard dc wall adapter. 1 1/2" x1 1/2"x3" . It reads output 18v dc 500ma, but my meter reads 25 volts. It has a coax adaptor coming out the bottom. So I assume that dc voltage boosts the signal? Does the antenna convert signal waves into a dc signal?

I’m thinking it may be some type of aftermarket device.

Do a google search for RV antenna booster and see if it looks like anything in the results. Most come with a Winegard RV-7042 Wall Plate / Power Supply or similar product that supplies 12 v dc.

I'll try that. All it has on it is the input and output, and do not unplug. Plus made in China.
