Trailer Aid Plus
Just changed a tire on my Keystone Cougar 26RBI (30' overall), 30" axel to axel, individual leaf springs. I sat the Trailer Aide Plus on a 2x10 on asphalt and easily backed up on it. No slippage and plenty of room to change a tire.
Given the amount of weight it takes off the axel, I believe that even if your surface did not allow you to raise the tire enough you could easily use the jack included in your tow vehicle to raise the offending axel enough to change the tire.

Touch wood, I have never had to use mine while on the hwy. However, I did use it in my driveway to repack the wheel bearing on my Elite 23RB last summer. Worked very well. Would not consider heading out anywhere without it packed in the truck.

Purchased a Trailer Aide Plus and without using anything under it, such as a 2x10, it was not enough to lift the opposite tire. Two inches plus may have done it???

Works great for utility trailers, but I still carry it in the TH as part of the leveling kit.

Bttt for this old thread. I've only been dragging for 1 1/2 years but that's been a single axle. Now I have two and was thinking of getting a floor jack. Not no more. Thanks for posting. Or is that thank myself for reading ?

Basement space is precious in my current rig, so I just use the jack that came with the truck. It has worked great 3X on old 12,000 pound fiver so I'm sure it will work on current 9500 pound fiver. To each their own.

Trailer Aid Plus works good for me with a 1x12 under it. I'm going to be carrying wood scraps anyway.

Yep. Even though I think/thought/I really don't know what I was talking about earlier, I ended up using my truck jack to swap out the right rear. Reason for the low tire ? Square drive screw.
