Install heater here?

Hey guys/gals when I was dealing with the ac I noticed this sticker
Can I actually install an electric heater in the ac unit to blow warm air through the ducts?

You most certainly can. A heat strip is optional on most A/C units and will work in conjunction with your furnace.

Are they any good? Where would I get one from? I googled it last night but I couldn't find any info but then again I have no idea what they look like.

Heat strips are good for taking the chill off but eat way more
Kilowatts than you'd think for the heat produced. Something
to consider.

I Googled "rv a/c heat strip" and came up with several pages of them for many brands and models. They run between $40 and $70 and just plug in. I had one in my last trailer and it was nice to take the chill off in the morning but a small electric heater or rv fireplace is more efficient.

Thanks for the replies It sounded like a good idea but if it just takes the chill off then it won't work well in the winter. I looked at a wall mounted radiant heater that's very thin and throws off a ton of heat without any exposed elements which I like as I have this thing about fires.
