Adjusting the Flame on the Stove

Hey all,
I did a 'search' before posting this question, but did not see what I was looking for. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction or answer my question.

While getting my 2011 Laredo 291TG up and running for the season, I noticed that the flame on the center burner on my indoor stove was super huge. How do I adjust this -or can you?
The other 2 burners are normal and go from a small blue flame to a bigger blue flame. The center one is a normal blue flame but as you turn up the knob on the stove, I get a 5 inch orange flame at high.

Usually an orange or yellow flame means the air/fuel adjustment is off, but it can also be dirt, dust, grease, etc burning off. Since it's only one burner and you said you were getting it out of storage it may be just dust. Maybe give the burner a good cleaning. As to why it's larger than normal I'm not really sure.

Check the manual that came with the stove. On most models the center burner is a high output burner and is supposed to be a higher flame and may even have some notation on the control knob. Checking the color of the flame without a pot over it can also be deceiving. The air/fuel ratio may be adjustable but I don't think the gas flow on each burner is.

Thanks Hank,
I will check the manual - once I find it...
The knob on the stove has red markings - whereas the other 2 are white.
Maybe this is an indicator (as stated) that it is a higher output.

Mine did that also. I just turned it up and down a couple of times and all is well. However that is the "power" burner so it does burn higher than the rest.

Have you pulled the top off to have a look. Make sure everything is clean and clear, run a pipe cleaner through the tubes etc.

I have a Laredo and my center front burner is my high output burner. It has the red writing on it.
