Shower Door

Ok, I have tried a search. I'm sure there must be another post on here about this but I can't seem to locate it.

Our shower door fell off. It is the standard corner shower with 2 small plexiglass panels and a door in between them. It has a metal (AL?) top and bottom frame which is all screwed together.

Ok, so I can get the door all put back together in its frame, but how in the world do you get the assembled door back in the shower frame?

The frame around the door has 2 metal pins, one top and one bottom that the door pivots on. But i see no way to get them back into the shower frame. There is a top metal "cap" on the shower frame that screws off. However even after you remove that I see no way to loosen the frame to get the door back in it.

Anyone know how this is done?
