You are more likely up there in April to have to watch out for a possible snow fall. In mid May it was really nice, day time highs between 50-75, some lows at night were down to freezing, down in Zion and Moab it was a range of 60 -85 degrees.
Nice part about that part of the country is depending on the weather you can always adjust your elevation.
Also in climbing grades I make sure it's not going to be to windy, sucks climbing up and into the wind.
