I am sure someone brighter than me will chime in as it may be the greatest things since sliced bread. I have a Suburban water heater and all Suburban anode rods are the same diameter and pitch but I think Suburban may have been purchased by one of the mega brands and not sure which but it won't be Atwood I think.

And since Atwood heaters don't have rods, yes, all rods for modern WHs are the same size and thread.
In my old rig I had an Atwood where the drain cap was placed behind piping that made it absolutely impossible to get a wrench behind. I did replace the cap with an assembly that included an integral spigot. I didn't realize that the nylon plug was designed for pressure relief, so I may have replaced it with a brass one. Anyway, I operated it for 20 years without issue.
