Awning cover for winter storage

Hi All,

Just wanted to share this cover I made for the awning for the winter. Simply 2 pieces of vinyl rain gutter 3.5 inch I think. I bought two 10foot sections as my awning is 20ft. Fit right over it and should protect it from the elements for the winter.

Not a bad idea for snow/ice protection.
I guess a bungy cord on each end and maybe two small ones hooked to the speaker covers would keep that cover on in strong winds.

No need to bungy cord it. you have to stretch the opening a little to get around the awning. it is fairly snug, I don't think it is going anywhere. We are in Manitoba and get fairly strong winds and the trailer faces west so it gets some wind and so far it has not budged.

Awning cover for winter storage

I like it! Thanks for the hint. We're in Wisconsin and we also get strong winds so I'll be installing these very soon.
