Two black tanks but only one tank flush valve

Hi Guys, I have a 2016 Keystone Impact 361 toy hauler with two 40 gallon gray and two 40 gallon black with a bath and a half. I have a couple question on how these work.
1. I assume one gray tank services the main bath sink and shower and the second services the 1/2 bath sink and kitchen?
2. As mentioned above, I have two black tanks but only one tanks flush valve. Does this one flush valve spray both black tanks at the same time? I don't see any switch that would redirect from one tank to the other.

thanks
BOB

Keystone has "plumbed the tanks" in a variety of ways. There doesn't seem to be any specific "always standard" way that it's done and it can vary from trailer to trailer as well as from brand to brand.

On some, the kitchen sink/second bath sink share a gray tank, on some the bathroom sink dumps into the second black tank, on some the washer/dryer dumps into a tank (black or gray) and on others, it doesn't dump into a tank, but dumps on the ground or to the "sewer line coupling"...

As for the black tank flush, some are connected to both tanks and flush them at the same time, some are connected only to the "main black tank". Which is the "main black tank" ? Good question, only the guys on the assembly line really know for sure which it was on the day your trailer was built......

So, an afternoon of dumping buckets of water, opening dump valves, spraying tanks with the black tank flush system is the only "real way to know for sure" how yours was plumbed. That is, unless <tongue in cheek> you can find a daily schedule from Keystone that would tell you what's different in trailers built on Monday vs Wednesday.....

Easy way is to dump both black tanks. Hook up rinser and just watch the monitor panel.

I think I would prefer to watch both tanks very closely to see which is spraying and which is dumping and leave both dump valves open. Ask me how I know?
HAHAHAA
randy
PS IF you or anyone needs a picture of the 327RES underside between the black and gray main tanks above the black roto plastic let me know I can get them right now before I close the underside back up.

Empty both black tanks... hook up the flush hose. If they both fill easy peasy

have you looked under the trailer just ahead of the tires? I have a 2016 impact 311 the second grey tank valve is there under the rig with the cable run through the frame.

Yep, my 2016 ,,,,371 is the same, didn't catch it for awhile, couldn't figure out why the light on the black tank number 2 wasn't going down. Finally saw the lever under the slideout by the tires. Not very obvious, would be nice if they mentioned that......

Yes, Keystone installs dump valve actuators on the frame under the skirting. Most PDI will not disclose them. Kind of a sore spot with me, they only open the hook-up door and tell you how convenient everything is.

Every tank should have it's own dump valve.

My dealer told us on our PDI that the black flush only flushes black tank #1 ( main toilet). I verified this as true. We decided that only liquid would be going in the second black tank in order to try to alleviate potential issues without the black flush.
I played around with the water and tanks & found out that on mine, the kitchen sink & second bath sink goes to grey 2 & shower & main bath sink goes in grey 1.
It is weird where they located the dump handles for the second tanks.
