Magnum Energy - MS2812 Install

So it's been a long two weeks, but I have finally gotten my inverter installed. I decided to install a 2800 watt inverter just in case the wife wanted to use the hair dryer while I was microwaving something. Bigger is better right?

The MS2812 has the following options:

Built in transfer switch
Built in 30 amp breaker
fully programmable remote panel
Pure sine wave output

What I did was run two flex conduits from the main panel to the front storage compartment. I terminated both ends with junction boxes. On the main panel side, I disconnected the 30 amp main line and tied it into the junction going out to the inverter. The main line was then routed from the inverter back to the main panel. On the DC side, I routed dual 4/0 cables so that I could meet the 600 amp rating for the Blue Sea marine disconnect switch I purchased. From there the switch feeds into a 400 amp class T fuse and then in to the inverter.

I forgot to take a picture of the remote panel install. Hope I can get to this soon if I have time.

-Alex

Hmm... all of the pictures should be rotated 90º clockwise. No idea how to fix this.

I haven't been versed on how to do it as a moderator. I will send a PM to the one who does know and have them fixed and instructions on how to so it for future reference. It may have something to do with the dimensions.

Reduce the size. 100-400 x 100-500 pixels usually works.
