Heated hose

Seen this online and thought this is a good idea for seasonal/full timers?

We purchased the Pirit hose last fall, similar to that brand, and it hasn't froze yet. Just have to make sure the thermostat tied to the outside of the hose is exposed to outside air, otherwise it won't switch on when it gets cold.

Stublejumper, Howdy;

Had one 4 years ago, it lasted through the -40* extremes
of a Central Utah Winter then melted itself when the temps
got warmer. No repairs for them... They were $75.00 then also.
Since then I've stayed with a plain white hose and some heat
tape with foam. Works just as well for the extremes and they
are repairable ...
They are good for stock tanks and other occasional uses as long
as you keep the end open.
