Charging Batteries While Parked

I have a red key that after you get RV hooked up on electricity you turn this key off and pull it out.

I have #2 Batteries in compartment, #1 for the Generator and #1 to Run RV on dry cell.

Do both of these batteries charge themself setting for long periods of time or do I need to hook up battery tender on them????

Been there for Two months now and Generator did start easily the other day but not sure with extendid periods.

If you are plugged into 110V shore power, your RV converter will determine the correct charge for your batteries and will apply a charge to them. If you are not hooked up, then you will need some kind of external battery charger to keep them charged - such as a trickle/battery tender. You shouldn't leave your batteries for long periods of time without charging - letting them run down isn't good for them.

Why would you disconnect your battery after you hook up to 120V? The batteries will not charge...Jim

That key might just be a disconnect for the 12v aux on the 7pin?
