Question Kayaking and camping ?

So...wondering how many of you kayak when camping, or plan a camping trip around great kayaking spots ? There is currently a camping/kayaking event going on in Alabama. It's called "Rock a Dock" and is put on by a guy that I found on youtube. His name is Trip Smith and can be found on youtube using that name. Lots of interesting stuff on his channel. Thinking about going to this event next year. Does this interest anyone ? Just throwing it out there. By the way, I am in no way affiliated with this youtube channel, just a fan !

I like kayaking. I like creeks and streams but not white water or open water.

For me kayaking a creek through the woods is like hiking, but on water.

We always bring our kayaks with us camping and we also prefer paddling creeks over open water. We do have some smaller lakes up here in the Finger Lakes region that we will do once in a while.

We bring along our kayaks about half of the time. There are some great spots all around where we live and especially up in the Adirondack Mtns.
