I bought mine used and maybe the person that owned it prior to me took really good care of it or rarely used. It's not perfect but I am aware of upkeep and maintenance. Tires changed, axle bearings greased, brakes checked and adjusted. Next year has a wish list of wet bolt system, replace couch with lazy boy love seat, awning.
It sometimes seems like the least cost effective way to travel, I did do my homework there. My trip to the maritimes last fall cost less than half than if I were to fly/ drive, hotel, for the same time period. I got to sleep in my own bed and had all my creature comforts with me.
It's not what happens to you in life, it's how you deal with it that counts.
I hope your trailer brings you happiness and at some point lasts accordingly.
