Just what brand would this be?

The beast was spotted this afternoon while having an ice cream cone in La Belle, Florida:

“I got it once piece at a time...didn’t cost me a dime...”. Sorry, it’s kinda cool looking, but reminded me of Johnny Cash.

From the front it looks like an old Studebaker or Edsel, from the rear a Conestoga wagon & from the side something from the movie "Mad Max".

Yep, I'm leaning toward the Edsel. Lots of those and the Studebakers around back when but not so much anymore. Looks like the builder was trying to "emulate" classics of yesteryear....sort of.

Well can I say "form follows function" I am willing to bet that the owner/builder was just resourceful and did what they could with what they could aquire.

That was the prototype for the AIRSTREAM Class A!

A marvel in "Mirro Toaster" technology!... A buddy of mine actually put styro-foam toast on top, and a push-down handle on the rear of his tag-along! He called it "Breakfast is on"!

The Class A was a flop, but the bike rack is cool!

LOL

Good Luck,

The fact that you were in LaBelle is scary enough without seeing that monstrosity.

Just plain COOL!!! Here is a true “free thinker” who really doesn’t care what others think. I’d like to have a conversation with him over a beer or two. There’s a lot of back yard engineering going on here which would be very interesting to hear about....
