Does your toy hauler have propane connection?

Picking up fuzion 345 chrome here in about a week and trying to get it outfitted and stocked up. Do the th's have a propane line run to hook up stoves etc and run from the house tanks like a trailer with an outdoor kitchen? If not, i imagine i will need to haul a 20lb tank along (camp chef three burner stove).

My Cougar 326 has a factory installed QD propane fitting. It is located near the front of the unit, it would have been better if it were more to the rear.

If your trailer does have an LP quick disconnect port, it will be downstream of the regulator and LOW pressure. Your Camp Chef will not operate correctly if you have the regulator on the supply line.

I have the same stove, and I haul a 20# cylinder just for it and some other things. I have a tree so I can have 3 different appliances and a lantern.

Thanks for the info. That is kind of what I was thinking (needing a separate cylinder).

Ok thanks. I imagine my 345 has it also then. Since the camp chef stoves r setup to run on the 20lb tanks, ie not the Coleman disposable ones, couldn't I just tap into the th line? The th line is already low pressure right?

yeah its just a quick disconnect and yes low pressure cause its after the tank and regulator. You should be able to get the pigtail from any RV or Sporting good store and be in business

I bought a quick disconnect hose to provide trailer propane to my Weber Q. In order to use that propane, I removed the regulator on the Weber and reinstalled another (male) QD gas fitting. I also bought another hose with a regulator at the tank end and (female) QD fitting on the Weber end so I could use the 20# tank at home. I thought this was a better solution than lugging around a 20# tank when I have two 30# tanks on the trailer.

Check CW or Walmart online for the parts...and be sure to get gas QD fittings, not airhose fittings.

I shouldnt need to do any of that since the camp chef stoves and burners run off large cylinders (not the small hi pressure ones). I assume the quick connect line on the camper is already regulated upstream next to the propane bottles(??), so if thats the case, just a "regular" propane without a regulator on it should suffice (I think?)????

The large ones have the same pressure as the little ones, they just hold more volume.

If you can find or fabricate a hose that would attach to the camp chef without an in-line regulator then yes you could use the quick connect on your TH.

My main reason for carrying a separate cylinder is in case I run out in the trailer and don't want to pay high CG per gallon.

Good thing I am asking a lot of questions..I had no idea! Thanks!

So, this hose from camp chef should work for me then, right?

Yes it will. I may have to get one of those myself. I will probably still carry the spare cylinder.

Does anyone with a late model Raptor happen to have one of these, or did it actually come with the connection? DW and I looked the system over but couldn't find one. It would be a handy addition for our grill.

My Camp Chef came with a hose attached with a regulator on the opposite end. I just removed the hose and put a QC fitting on the Camp Chef. I removed the regulator from the Weber, installed a gas fitting, and use the same hose equipped with QC fittings on both appliances, not at the same time of course.

On my 311 Impact its its located in front of the second axle. Could that connection be used for a lager propane bottle with a regulator?

My raptor 2010 had no gas quick dissconect utill I added one. Even though it's on the low pressure side. I chose a 20' hi pressure hose for the barbi Q.

Bought it from mcgeorge in Ashland. I was leery about buying there, but our salesman Melvin was great, the pdi was very good and only a few very small issues with the unit so far. The price was fantastic...lower than Danville.

We Really like the 345 chrome. We needed the 12ft garage and this was our favorite. She isn't light though. Without toys, and 1/3 fresh and grey tank and normal camping provisions she weighed in at 14535 with about 3200 on the pin. I'm just under my limits (gvwr and rawr) of my 2014 ram 3500 Srw.

And yes, it does have the quick disconnect under the kitchen slide out. I have a 10ft hose and works well to put the camp chef in front of the kitchen slide
