We looked at both and also went with a Carbon just for the money factor. A similar sized Raptor will be 15-20K more and that is a pretty big chunk of change, at least for us it was. Off the top of my head...
Frames, sidewalls, roofs, construction, axles, suspension, front cap, rear ramp, LED use, counter tops, sinks, toilets, furniture are the same.
Raptor has....
High Gloss Exterior
G rated tires
Push to close hatches
Frameless windows standard
Two awnings on front standard where applicable
Four entry steps vs. three
6 Point Hyd. Leveling system (option)
Dual gas tanks
Larger double Door Fridge
Bigger Microwave
Bigger water heater and electric
Fireplace
More and bigger TV's
Blu-Ray Player
Sound Bar
Garage in floor storage bin
Central Vac system
Washer Dryer Hook ups (I think the Carbon 377 has this)
So lots of upgrades on a Raptor and you can see why it costs so much more...and weighs a lot more too!
The Carbon is still a very nice camper....even with its mid-level status.
