2012 Fuzion 302 water pump location

Anybody know where the water pump is located on this model? I can hear it running and it seems to be behind the panel where the city water hose hooks up, but I'm not sure.

Thanks,

Steve

In my raptor you have to get in the storage compartment and remove a plastic wall...you then have full access behind the city water panel

Well this sounds like a fun game . . . hide a seek with water pumps. Looks like there are at least 4 or 5 different locations so far. Nice Keystone.

Just to throw another one into the mix . . . I have a 2008 302 and the water pump is in a small compartment directly below the pantry in the kitchen (next to the fridg). That is where the valve is that allows you to suck anti freeze in when you winterize it also.

Didn't your dealer (or the seller) go over this with you when you bought it?

Good luck.

You might be surprised as to the number of people, especially first-time buyers, who don't ask about the pump. Many are not at all familiar with the various systems in an RV and may or may not be aware that a water pump exists - never mind where it is located.

You can include the HW tank bypass valve, drain points, dump valves (mislabeled or not), manual slide out operation, converter, and several other items that buyers don't know of to ask how they work and where they are located.

Perhaps they are thinking it's like much of our electronic stuff --- "plug 'n play". Makes you wonder sometimes.

I agree most 1st time camper buyers wouldn't know this or to ask about it. But I would have thought any responsible dealer would have walked a new camper owner through all this. I would also be surprised if 1st time camper started with a toy hauler. Going from nothing all the way to this . . . wow, that would be one giant leap. However I'm sure there are some that do it.

You might note that the last comment in that thread was over 8 years ago so probably won't get any response if you're looking for one.
