Hardwired my Autoformer

I got tired of hauling out the Autoformer(low voltage booster), protecting it from the elements, and chaining it to the trailer, so I removed the cord and plug, then hardwired it inside the cord storage area.

Side view. Drilled small holes in panel so I can see the lights and monitor status from my recliner.

That's a great idea. Question though is it worth the cost of one and what all does it do?

This description is from the website where I bought it(PPL Motor Homes).

"Avoid brownout damage by boosting the park voltage to your RV. This 30 amp Autoformer has increased capacity to 3600 watts, with a fully automatic 10% boost when needed. Internal transformer increases volts and lowers amps, while sophisticated circuitry monitors power levels and boosts if voltage is less than 115v. Includes park power diagnostic light, as well as boost indicator light, spike and surge protection and polarity and ground test functions."

Low voltage can damage appliances like the AC, frig., microwave, etc.
According to what I have read and been told by an RV repair shop, voltage below 105 volts can damage some appliances. I believe it's worth what I paid for it considering what it would cost to replace a major appliance.
The voltage in a few of the parks I frequent have low voltage problems, especially when the park is full.
