micro monitor tank level indicator

Hi, we have a 246rbs. The water level indicator shows 2/3 for the black and grey tanks even after I empty them. I have tried flushing both tanks and they still say 2/3 full. The indicator is a fleetwood rv, micro monitor. There doesn't seem to be any way to adjusting the unit. Any suggestions on what I can do?

There have been volumes written on this and every other forum about faulty readings on tank sensors - especially the black tank and to a lesser extent the gray tanks.

If you do a forum search, you will find dozens of posts about this topic and what others have done to help correct the problem and to keep the tanks clean. Try typing in black tank or blank tank sensors, faulty tank readings, keeping tank clean, monitors etc. You should come up with plenty of previous postings.

If you can't find any of vast amount information that has been posted here already, get back to us and we'll help you out.

I was just under my Bullet, had the underbelly off, and one of the things I discovered was one or two of the sensor wires on the tanks were loose to the point of falling off . And all the rest of them were able to be tightened. Don't know if this is your issue or not but if the sensors aren't connected well it won't matter how much you flush.

As Festus2 stated there is a lot of info on this site concerning tanks and monitors. Another forum with a ton of info is RVNET.com.
