Hello to all the helpful folks out there, and thanks for all the ideas. The DW and I are long time RVers, with 2 previous 5ers, a m/h and now our first TT. Here is our list of mods and future mods, with a few pics following.

1. Idoneit lengthened and reinforced full Queen bed with footboard and open storage under.
2. Entertainment system in bedroom with 32" LCD, BluRay, theatre sound, wireless net-capable.
3. WiFi repeater with wired or wireless access to TV, BluRay and laptop.
4.Idoneit matching TV mount, BluRay, Network, soundbar and movie shelves.
5. 110 outlet under bed to feed sub-woofer.
6. Idoneit nightstand shelves on each side of bed.
7. Idoneit pass-through flagpole mount with foot plate, 22' pole, flag and ball.
8. Reinforced dinette seating and various panels.
9. Door locks and magnetic stops for bedroom and bath.
10. Electric tongue jack.
11. Idoneit leveling blocks for wheels, steps and stabilizer jacks.
12. Plug expanders and LED night lights throughout trailer and USB charging ports in kitchen.
13. Titan extendable Big-Tow mirrors on Nissan Armada tow vehicle.
14. Idoneit storage shelf across pass through storage with dedicated equalizer and anti-sway storage.
15. Idoneit 20 amp power circuit with switched a/c dedication/exclusion.
16. Idoneit tire, floor vent and power jack covers.
17. Idoneit shelf on back of dinette by door.

In work or possible mods to come:
5" post sewer hose carrier with pvc gutter tray. - 1 or 2 more 5" post storage areas for hoses, etc - Accumulator for water system. - Inside battery switch. - Shower doors. - Some kind of super fan for bedroom, undecided which. - Custom medicine cabinet in bath. - Step, backup, awning and flag lights. - Awning (PVC gutter mod) and spare tire covers. - Mod cabinet behind dinette. - Better storage access under dinette and couch. - Recover lost storage space as possible in various areas. - More outside storage. - Mud flaps - LED indicators on W/H circuits

I like the flag pole mount. I think that style would fit on my rear bumper mount.

What did you get for an A/C filter?

Hi f6bits,

The filter material is the blue stuff that can be cut to fit at Lowes. The frame is cut from poplar and put together with 45's picture frame style. It is mounted to the original Dometic a/c cover piece with screws from the back side. The cover piece is then put back in place as original, the cut to fit filter material inserted and a grill placed and secured with 4 small screws. Everything is painted to match. It gives a bit more filter area but with a much thicker filter. The flimsy filter and easily-broken retainer/grill are history.

Here is the updated list of mods and wishes, along with pictures of the latest work. I know many have done the sewer hose thing, but I wanted to show my version; perhaps it might give someone another idea. I used two posts and two slides, one for the sewer hose and fittings and the other for power and extension cords.

Thanks go to all the great folks here, Win; I don't think many of mine are original. We have some amazing talent on this forum. Love the 22RBWE; it's a great floor plan with lots of storage. Happy camping!

Them 5" post sewer hose and cable carriers with slide out pvc gutter trays that's nice but hope you didn't install them directly under those Grey and Black tanks. There's a thread about it!

Thanks, Mobil42, for the alert. Mine are actually a bit forward of any tanks, and they are a little lower than the frame too, so no danger of anything getting rubbed the wrong way.

I would like to know more about the thread dealing with locating tubes under the waste tanks. I'll try to locate it myself, but would like to know the name of it, if anyone recalls, or at least the gist of what was discussed. Thanks.

Hello, thewhitehat - The issue discussed was, as I understand it, a gentleman mounting the storage tubes under the black/grey tanks. As the tanks filled and swelled, they rubbed against the tops of the storage tubes, eventually opening a hole in the tanks and allow the ummm - contents to escape. It would be wise to mount the tubes away from black/grey tanks if possible, as I chose. If not possible, perhaps some extra spacing would be in order to prevent contact between the tank and the tubes when the tanks are heavily loaded. No matter how much power your tow vehicle has, you cannot outrun the stink when a black tank opens up.

Thanks. I just finished doing the exact same thing (mounting underneath tubes for sewer hose storage). I don't think I placed them below a black or grey tank, because the bathroom is further back and the galley is in the nose. I do have at least a few inches of clearance in the way they are mounted,though. And I never leave the campground with anything in the tanks.

I just got my rig, I have been working furiously... Can you tell me more about your wifi repeater and flag pole jobber...

Hello Bigcitypopo - The flag pole mount is a 24" piece of 2" pipe, can be galvanized or iron. Leave threads on one end to screw on a 2" PVC cap with the center cut out to pass your flagpole. This protects the pole from getting scarred up on the metal pipe. The pipe is mounted to a 4"x7" piece of 1/4" flat stock with u-bolts sized for the pipe. They are mounted 1/2" from the edge of each of the 4" sides of the flat stock. The flat stock is drilled 1/4" clearance to accept a 1/4" bolt through to a tapped hole in the trailer a-frame in 4 places. Look at how the common anti-sway bar ball is mounted on the a-frame. It's like that. The flagpole slips through the pipe and rests on the ground. No tools to set up and it will not come off.

The wifi repeater is sold by Jefatech on their website; just put the name in your search engine and it will come up. The repeater alone is about 90 bucks if I remember correctly. It also comes in a kit with an antenna and adjoining cable for about 150 bucks, I think. Hope this helps, my friend. Happy camping!
